Nursery Home Learning Activities for w/c 14th December

Hello Dosbarth Enfys and Dosbarth Seren

We have really enjoyed having lots of Christmas fun with you this week and how amazing that the Christmas Elf has been to visit our school. She was so impressed with how hard you have been working since you started school in September and so are we!

Whilst we can't be together for the last few days of term we have provided you with some activities so that you can continue the Christmas fun at home. All the activities are based around the fantastic book Dear Santa by Rod Campbell. Don't worry if you don't have a copy of the book at home we have included two You Tube links so you can watch it with your grown up before deciding which activity you would like to start on.

Have fun and happy learning!

PLEASE COLLECT LOTS OF SMALL AND MEDIUM BOXES (and yogurt pots/loo rolls) OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS TO USE IN OUR FIRST WEEK OF NEXT TERM.  THANK YOU!!

Parents ... we have provided a selection of practical learning activities linked to the Dear Santa story book. Your child is not expected to complete all the activities but they can do if they wish!

We suggest that they choose one literacy, one numeracy and one other of their choice during this period of home learning.

We hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas. We know that it will be a very different kind of celebration for everyone this year, however we hope that you enjoy some special family time and enjoy making memories together.

Our Nursery Christmas video will be posted on this website soon. Once it goes live we will update you via Schoop. This year more than any we have had to be adaptable, so whilst different to our traditional Christmas Concert format, we hope you have as much fun watching it as the children did making it.

Thank you for your continued support. It has been a pleasure working with your children this term and so lovely to get to know you all too. We look forward to seeing you all in January. Take care and stay safe.
