Nursery Home Learning activities for w/c 11th January

Hello to all our Nursery SUPERSTARS!

Thank you for your fantastic hard work, we are VERY proud of you all. We hope that you enjoyed your PET week activities. We have more fun activities for you this week which is ... FARM week! So pop on your wellies, wrap up warm ... we're off to the FARM for some fun and adventure.

Parents ... congratulations and thank you for helping your child with their first full week of Home Learning!

We have really enjoyed the activities you have shared with us via Purple Mash. This is a great way for us to stay in touch. We have loved seeing your child's learning and we hope they have enjoyed our comments to their photos and 2Do activities. Remember you can also use the comment facility to communicate with us. The easiest way to do this is when 'handing in' a 2Do there is a text bow where you can 'Leave a note for the teacher'.

If you have problems accessing your child's Purple Mash account then please contact our IT Manager, Mrs Bricknell via email - bricknella@hwbcymru.net who can advise you further.

As mums ourselves we fully appreciate the many challenges that home learning can bring. Try to 'hold on to' the things that went well and 'let go' of any fails! Things don't always work out as planned in school either so the same will happen at home too! It's happened to us at home this week!!!! Sometimes you just need to down tools, try somethings different or head outside for a 'socially distanced' walk and breath in the fresh air.

There are so many distractions at home (... especially after Father Christmas has just kindly brought lots of new toys that are 'asking' to be played with) and it is VERY difficult for parents who are ALSO trying to work whilst getting to grips with home-learning. We really do understand that everyone is doing their best to fit all this around family-life. Well done for all that you have achieved so far.

Keep safe and be kind to yourself. It might not always feel like it but you are doing a great job.

THANK YOU all for your fantastic efforts,

Mrs Evans and Mrs Nash
