Project Paddington Day Sept 2015

Today 30th Sept is our Project Paddington Day! In school there are lots of cuddly bears which are being donated along with funds raised to 'Project Paddington'.  The children are out of uniform and some dressed up to look like Paddington Bear. Lots of other children are dressed like other bears - its bears everywhere!

Today we have eaten marmalade sandwiches, planted Paddington Wellies, had a welly throwing contest and even designed a new suitcase for Paddington! to name just a few of the fun things we have done.

We started our assembly with a video made on the iPad by three of our Year 6 girls - you can see the video in our gallery under the 'Videos 2015/16' who explain why we have held this fund raising day.

Craig Williams our MP for Cardiff North & Councillor Jayne Cowan kindly joined us in assembly to find out the total figures and.....we have collected nearly 700 teddies and raised £2,000!! Diolch Pawb! That is a fantastic achievement. Everyone should be very proud.
