Welcome to the third week of our ‘Commotion in the Ocean’ topic. We hope you are enjoying the range of activities and developing your learning skills.
We loved reading your ‘Wish You Were Here’ fact files on PurpleMash, thank you for sharing them with us. By the time we had read them all we felt as if we had done a world tour. What an interesting place Earth is! This week’s 2Do is all about how holidays have changed over time.
Remember to try your best and keep going with any of the challenges you do at home.
Go on! You can do it!
Well done everyone, we are super proud of you all!
Please keep using the comment function when handing in the weekly Purple Mash 2Do tasks. It’s lovely to hear about all the different things that you have been up to. This is a great way for us to be able to keep in contact with the children and yourselves. Please don’t feel that your messages need to relate directly to the 2DO task, if you have any questions please ask and will do our very best to help you.
You will notice we have added new phonics, spelling and handwriting activities as well as a Welsh activity into the Languages, Literacy, and Communication section. We hope the children will enjoy these games and challenges and find them fun to complete.
Next week, we will be investigating capacity in maths and creating an ocean composition in music. It would be helpful if you could gather together some empty bottles/cartons/yogurt pots in a range of sizes ready for the activities we have planned.
We hope you are all well and managing to balance the different challenges that this unprecedented time continues to present. Whilst some days it might not feel like it, but you are doing a great job. Thank you for your continued help and support.
