R3 have loved Elmer the Elephant this week. We have made elephants of our own and have explored colour and pattern.
Measuring our hands.
Some of us had different size hands.
We discovered who had the smallest and the biggest.
Creating Elmer faces.
Exploring different patterns.
Den building!
Making elephant food in the mud kitchen.
Duck, duck, goose.
We had to run very fast!
R3 puppet show.
We had lots of different characters.
It was so much fun!
We became a herd of elephants.
We joined ourselves together just like elephants do.
It was a BIG heard!
Designing our own pattered elephants ready for Elmer Day.
Giving Elmer his patchwork colours.
Cube painting Elmer patterns.
Exploring our habitats within the school grounds.
We used our senses to explore the kitchen garden.
What could we feel?
Following the key to colour by number.
R1 have been 'Into the Wild' again!
