WELCOME BACK EVERYONE!!!
We hope you have had a lovely Christmas and have had lots of fun playing with your presents. We are so looking forward to seeing you all and hearing all your news. Christmas has been a bit different this year ... and the start of our new term is also a bit different because we are going to be starting this topic from home!
We are sad that we can't be in school together just yet but whilst you are at home we have lots of fun learning activities that you can do to help us start our new topic ... AMAZING ANIMALS!!! Each week we will be learning about a different group of animals. This week is going to be PET week ... but don't worry you don't need to have a pet at home to learn about pets!
Every day we have provided you with one literacy activity, one numeracy activity and one other activity that covers the other areas of the curriculum in line with the school blended learning principles (see 'Digital Learning Documents' for more information). At this stage of your child's learning journey there is a strong focus on practical learning. Where appropriate we have included videos, pictures and/or questions to help guide and stimulate these shared learning experiences.
If you would like to share your learning with us then you are able to upload photographs of your work to your 'My Work' folder on Purple Mash. Please click below to access the user guide with step by step instructions on how to do this.
We will be logging on to Purple Mash daily to check in on anything you are able to upload and can comment on the files you upload to your 'My Work' folder. When you complete a Purple Mash 2Do task you can also add a comment or voice message when you hand it in. We look forward to hearing from you!
We have our fingers and toes crossed that we will be back in school really soon but at the moment it is important that we keep ourselves safe and healthy.
Have a great week, enjoy your learning together and have fun!

If you have any unwanted Christmas cards at home we would appreciate them for our cut and stick activities. Please keep just the fronts of the cards safe and bring them with you when we are all back in school! Diolch!
