WELCOME TO YEAR 2
We are very busy in Year 2!
We have lots of fun solving problems, and you can often find us out the courtyard in the magic shop or garden centre! We use the iPads almost every day to help us develop our creative skills. We use GarageBand to create music for giants, Book Creator to show our Cymraeg skills, and iMovie to create trailers for our stories! We often pop to Rhiwbina Village to visit the shops and look for ways to improve our local community.
You can start to play a musical instrument and have lessons in school. You can choose the drums, recorder, guitar or the piano. During the Summer Term we also have tennis lessons at the tennis courts.
In Year 2, we use our thinking skills to snowball, diamond rank and use our thinking hats! Our traffic lights, twitter walls, learning caterpillars and PLAPS help us to identify what we have learnt and what our next targets will be.
