WELCOME TO YEAR 6
Embark upon a transition programme every fortnight at Whitchurch High School.. Be a prefect....Hold prominent positions on the school council and Eco-Committees....be a young leader and make our school environment a safer place by being a Junior Police Community Support Officer. Be elected house and sports captains/vice captains, and be elected the schools bard.
Running alongside our excellent topics, you will have the opportunity to undertake a mock magistrates court session, develop your entrepreneurial skills through the enterprise project and participate in a Year 6 election in which you have to devise your own political party.
During the summer term, you are given the chance to visit the activity centre at Kingswood to further develop your team building skills and independence. To conclude a highly successful in Rhiwbina Primary School, you will celebrate and share your many talents in the leavers concert.
