CROESO I FLWYDDYN 2 / WELCOME TO YEAR 2

We are very busy in Year 2!

We have lots of fun solving problems and working as a team. You can often find us out the courtyard making potions, working in the Bakery or growing and selling plants in the Garden Centre! We use the iPads and Chromebooks to develop our skills across the AoLEs and we often visit the Mac Suite where our Digital Leaders lead our learning sessions.  We use Hwb and Purple Mash to create databases, graphs,  work collaboratively and develop our word processing skills; Book Creator to show our Cymraeg skills and Popplet to mind map our ideas. 

You can start to play a musical instrument and have lessons in school. You can choose the drums, recorder, guitar or the piano.. During the Summer Term we also have tennis lessons at the tennis courts.

In Year 2, we use our thinking skills to snowball, diamond rank and use our thinking hats! Our traffic lights and learning caterpillars  help us to identify what we have learnt and what our next targets will be.
