School Orchestra
We hope that you enjoy listening to our fantastic School Orchestra performing 'Ar hyd yr nos', the 'Star Wars' theme and 'Land of hope and glory'.
Every Monday lunchtime, 20-25 dedicated musicians from Year 3 - 6 of all standards meet to practise and improve their musical skills. These tracks were recorded at a recent performance that took place at the end of June.
If you play a musical instrument and are not part of our School Orchestra you really are missing out - there's great enjoyment in playing as part of a group and it's the best way to improve your timing, tuning and general musicianship skills. We'd love you to join us when we start meeting again in September!
A BIG thank you to all Rhiwbeina pupils who have worked with us this past year and also to Mrs Cartlidge who puts in a lot of time and effort to find and arrange all of our music - we couldn't do it without her!
