We have had an exciting week exploring outside in the sun shine! We have found pirate treasures with lots of coins and had to work out what coins we have found. We love exploring together and working with our friends in R2!

We sorted the different coins.
Working hard to make totals.
We are always working on our HFW
Playing shops is so much fun!
Practicing our pencil control and fine motor skills.
What a beautiful sunny week we have had in R3! This week we have been exploring the treasure that pirates may have found and been shopping for goodies with our coins. We have really enjoyed the outdoor area sailing to pastures new. Obviously we have done a few other things but some of these need to remain top secret with a special day approaching.
We were set a challenge to fill the treasure chest with real coin rubbings.
Working hard to achieve our goal!
Sorting coins with a tricky twist of using tweezers. Great for our hand muscles!
Designing and making our own pirate ship flags.
They had to be the correct size to attach to the sticks.
Enjoying a cruise in the pirate ship!
There is nothing quite like a quiet place to enjoy a book.
We made ships to attach our flags to.
They were fabulous!
Shhhhh! This one is top secret, but we loved doing them.
Chalk number practise.
HFW writing.
Treasure was placed in the middle of the yard.
We had four teams and worked together to retrieve the most without being caught.
The children in the middle jumped so high to try and get the beanbag.
Ready for our opportunity to explore real coins.
We had to match the coins to the chests by matching the HFWs.
Pirate ship fun!
We had to cut and stick to assemble our flags.
Learning to add money.
Our pirate shop before opening hours.
It was a rush to get the best bargains!
Water fun!
Ahoy there mateys!
Making a stew in the mud kitchen.
We explored the best materials to make an eye patch.
Some good choices were made. ARGHHHHH!
